Established 15 years ago, the business was acquired by independant Alderstead Residential Independent Ltd at the beginning of 2017. You will find us very different from the nationwide firms as we consider ourselves a part of the local community and our teams in Merstham and Epsom have between them over 100 years of experience in the local real estate business.

Thomas and May endeavors to exceed its clients’ expectations, whether you have, or are looking for a 1 bedroom town flat, a chocolate box cottage, a Surrey mansion or commercial property in Surrey or London.

We offer landlords, vendors and buyers outstanding customer service. We also provide a complete property rental service too.

Thomas and May deliver results in an efficient, transparent and professional manner. We are members of The Property Ombudsman and comply with The Deposit Protection Scheme for tenants. These memberships provide sellers, buyers, landlords and tenants with an assurance they will receive the highest level of customer service and protection. Over a third of viewings take place outside of 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, so our offices are open until 6pm during the week and our staff available later and on the weekend to provide the best coverage you will find. As a leading independent estate agency we keep our fee levels to a minimum and can arrange for viewing outside of normal working hours - that Tuesday evening or Sunday afternoon viewing may be the one person who is going to proceed.
